What a fun day - Part III

The whole card in a box thing has really taken off and every where you look there are different themes and variations. I'm not 100% sure, but I think that the original idea came from Monica Gale, and then Tanya Bell adapted it so that it fitted in one of our standard C6 envelopes.

I've had my version sitting in my display cabinet for the last couple of months and it even made it to both the Bracknell and Make It shows. It was one of the projects that everyone who came on Saturday made a point of making. Some even made two!  I think you can say it was a big hit.

For mine, I used the Sweet Sorbet Designer Series Paper as a focal point. This paper is one of the items that you can get for free as part of Sale-A-Bration (SAB). The great news is that there's still time, 6 days (until 31 March), to make the most of this year's SAB so don't miss out. You can shop online and for every £45 spent (excluding P&P) you can choose a free item from the SAB catalogue.

This is going to be my last post about Saturday's event, although I may post a couple of more photos on my facebook page.

I am planning (and hoping) that my next post will be a challenge, so I'm off to scour various web-sites to check out some of the latest ones and see if I can get my creative juices flowing again. It may be a few days because I have a niggley sore throat that I'm willing to go away (with the help of medication) and not develop into something more serious.
