With Valentines Day next month we decided that this month we would feature projects made using the Sending Love Suite. The suite has bold designs as well as cute ones, and of course the designer series paper is the traditional Real Red.
For today's blog post I have concentrated on Valentines, but you can use the products for other occasions too.
Don't be fooled by the photo, these cards only measure 9.5 x 9.5 cm (3-3/4" x 3-3/4") when finished.
In fact, I made four cards and here are the other two.
I also made a matching box out of a sheet of A4 cardstock.
The finished box measures 10.0 x 10.0 x 2.5 cm (4" x 4" x1") and is large enough to hold all four cards along with their envelopes, or four tea-lights, or of course anything else that you fancy that is small enough to fit
Below are the links to the posts from the other Global Stampers.
As well as paper from the Sending Love Designer Series Paper Stack and the cute heart images from the Sealed with Love stamped set, Robbie used the Happy Heart embossing folder.
Alicia has used some of the fabulous dies from the co-ordinating Love Notes Framelits Dies (the card in the foreground). The hearts running down the card hold the fancy fold closed - such a clever idea. The silver ribbon she used to accent the card - it's one of the rolls in the Metallic Ribbon Combo Pack available as one of the Sale-A-Bration items.
I love this die from the Love Notes Framelits, believe it or not, it's the same one used by Alicia. The hearts really pop on the crumb cake background.
Thanks for stopping by this month. I hope you will click on the photos above to check out everyone's projects in more detail. I'll be posting non Valentines projects using the Sending Love Suite products later in the week, in the meantime, please feel free to leave a comment or two.
