CAS Colours & Sketches - Challenge # 268

Hi there, it's the third Tuesday of the month so this week Karen has a colour challenge for us.

I was really excited when I saw these colours but when I sat down to work with them all the ideas that I had seemed to have vanished into thin air. After going off to do something else I came back and made the following card.

I'm not too sure why, but I have to say that this is my favourite card that I've made in recent months. The design is so simple, and once I'd worked out what I wanted to do it was really quick to make too.

Here's a quick look at the inside.

I used the Yay You stamp set which is in fact a hostess set from the 2017-18 Annual Catalogue.  The spots/circles were stamped in the three colours and I used Black Archival Ink to stamp the sentiment and the images. To ensure that the spots/circles were inline, I used my Stamparatus positioning tool.

The cutting instructions for the cardstock is as follows-

Pool Party - 10.5 x 29.7 cm, scored and folded at 14.9 cm to make the base card.
Flirty Flamingo Layer - 10.0 x 14.4 cm
Whisper White Layers - 9.5 x 13.9 cm for front of card and 10.0 x 14.4 cm for inside the card.
